Location and beautiful place.

Upstairs neighbors to loud.

The apartment was clean and had all the facilities (large kitchen, washing machine, TV, air conditioning) that we needed on our trip. The check-in and check-out process was simple and all rules clearly communicated. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and taking public transportation was easy as well. Lots of room to park on the street as well.

La distribución está muy bien, la pena es que al ser un sotano es bastante oscuro. También la comunicación con el dueño es rápida y correcta, aunque un poco cortante.

Al ser un sotano se oía crujir todo el rato los techos. Los primeros días no debimos coincidir con huespedes en los apartamentos superiores y no se noto tanto pero a lo largo de los días no se podía dormir bien por todo el jaleo de pisadas de los pisos superiores. Luego empezó a saltar dos de los detectores de humo pero como si se quedaran sin pilas, tuvieron que venir y llevarselos cuando los repusieron, entrando sin avisar previamente, uno de ellos siguio saltando dando problemas. En general no se puede decir que haya podido descansar bien en este viaje.

Updated decor and appliances. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and pretty. The property manager was responsive when we had questions.

The temperature was very cold and could not be adjusted as this was a basement unit and the hvac system was controlled by an upstairs unit that kept the temp very cold. The shower control was broken which made it hard to adjust the water temperature. The kitchen stove was an induction stove and hard to operate the controls. A smoke alarm started beeping in the middle of the night because it needed battery replaced so we had to get up and take it down.

The apartment (we were flat 3, for 4 people) is lovely. Coffee machine & washing machine are excellent. Big fridges, oven, stove all really useful. The location is perfect. Roslindale Village is a 5 minute walk and has a good market shop and other amenities. The local parks & Jamaica plain nearby are lovely areas. We are very happy we chose this place 😀

Great host! I booked this for my parents, they unintentionally left something behind and the host immediately contacted us to ensure it was returned. Location is excellent and walkable.

Slanted ceiling in kitchen pretty low, taller people be aware.

The property was very clean and nicely decorated, in a safe, upscale neighbourhood.

I am a very deep sleeper but was woken every morning all weekend between 5 and 6am (and then kept awake) by the extremely loud creaking from footsteps on the wooden floor above. I have several recordings showing how bad it was and I am exhausted from the lack of sleep. This issue was not communicated to me beforehand, as stated in previous responses to negative reviews. The basement property is not fit for habitation until this issue is rectified. Furthermore, the location is very pleasant but not convenient as the commuter rail (Roslindale Village) only operates every one to two hours and the nearest metro (Forest Hills) is a 40 minute walk or $8-12 Uber/Lyft ride away. Edited to add: the very obviously AI-written reply is insulting in response to the noise issue I raised and also totally inaccurate - I paid over $250 per night for this apartment.
