FLH Downtown Fantastic Flat

Great location, nice clean apartment, comfortable beds, good WiFi.

The location was perfect, so centrally located, yet still very quiet at night. We feel very safe especially there is a police station diagonally across from us. The apartment was not new but is generally in good condition.

Unfortunately, we have 5-7 tiny coachroaches running around inside the main kitchen cabinet. After a few visits from a maintenance guy over 2 days, we saw a few now moving on to the living room. We obviously couldn't use any of the appliances and kitchenware in that cabinet. Cleaning can definitely be improved. There is a dirty glass left in the cabinet, a very slow shower drain that was nearly plugged after 2 nights (we ended up pulling a lot of others hair out of the drain to prevent overflowing!) mildew in shower and only 2 sets of towel were provided initially (we listed 3 occupants). It is such a shame for such a nice place. Lastly, be sure to bring your own bathroom toiletries (not listed but can be easily overlooked with a long list of property's description) AND laundry detergent as nothing is provided. Hopefully, all above will be fixed for future occupants. It would have been a perfect 9 or 10 for us, otherwise. P.s. In reading the previous reviews of this place, I see that all our issues have existed and obviously have persisted without improvement.

The location of the property is fantastic. It is conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, markets, and the beautiful Arco da Rua Augusta. Getting around is easy since the nearby roads are flat, which is a great advantage! The property looks just like the photos.

During our stay in the apartment, we were overwhelmed by cockroaches emerging from under the baseboards and in the kitchen cabinets. It was really disgusting, especially since they were crawling on the kitchen utensils! We contacted the host, who came to spray pesticides, but it didn’t help—bugs were still everywhere. We had to keep our luggage closed at all times, constantly worried about encountering more. To make matters worse, one cockroach even climbed onto the sofa next to me, giving me quite the scare!

Toilet paper was rationed at 3 rolls for 5 days. No refills. We bought 12 rolls for €3. It’s cheap n nasty. There were no dishwasher tablets to use the dishwasher. The dishwasher was NOT used. Why put a dishwasher in ?

The apartment was well located close to the main square in central Lisbon. Good for those with limited mobility, as it is in a section of town that is flat. Close to supermarkets, restaurants, and transport. It was clean, contained all that we needed for a few days' stay, and the management was responsive to our requests. Although on a main street, the double glazing mutes the noise enough to sleep between 2200 and 0700. Would stay there again.

The lift broke down, and we had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. There was only one small drying rack. It would be good to have a second one, due to its small capacity.

The location of the hotel is AMAZING. Right in the center of the city, super close to restaurants, tourist attractions, and even the ocean. The facilities have also exceeded our expectations. The room is clean, modern, and comfortable. The sofa can be readapted into a bed and you can easily fit 3-4 people in the room. Highly recommend.

The check-in took us a while. We completed a pre-check in form that includes our arrival time, but when we arrived, we tried calling the number as instructed but no one picked up. It took us almost 30 minutes to get the phone picked up and receive further instructions for check-in. In my opinion, the check-in instructions could be sent directly to us, I don't see much of a point in calling the number first in order to receive the check-in instructions. Furthermore, the luggage storage is far away from the property (20 min walk) and is at additional cost.

No breakfast was provided Best thing about this property was it’s fantastic location.

Bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Shower was 100% clogged and after 2 minutes of running the water the bathroom was flooded. Apparently this has been an issue for some time as it was mentioned on previous reviews. The bathroom faucet was loose. We were provided with 1 bar or soap one packet of shampoo, and shower gel for 2 people for 3 nights. Kitchen was minimumly stocked.
