Nice View Apartment Bairro Alto

Big apartment with a nice view. Good location, close to the city center and many attractions. Good equipment.

The owner didn't answer our question how to get the key. We had to call him and wait 15 minutes. A lot of minor faults in the apartment

Location, amazing view from the apartment, very light big windows and a nice owner..... Luggage storage also possible before I left to the airport after check out.

The shower head is always falling down and left bruises :-( and I could not close the shower door.

David was an excellent host - communicative, quick to respond, and tending to all of my needs. **Yes the stairs are very steep*** If you are travelling with large luggage I would recommend placing it in a storage unit prior to your arrival. Otherwise this place has a comfortable bed, it is quiet, and accessible to nearby restaurants by foot. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

The location is great. It is basically in the centre. There are lovely restaurants and cafés nearby.

There was a very very narrow and steep staircase to the room, to a degree that it was scary to climb up and also almost impossible to get a big suitcase upstairs. There was no AC, only a small fan, which, given that it was in the attic, made it almost unbreathable and difficult to sleep in when the outside temperatures were crossing 35 degrees. Another problem I couldn't handle very well was the electricity. There were some naked sockets, different extension cords, and one of them was making a crackling sound when I ran the electric kettle. Eventually, it stopped working and, before I figured out what was wrong, I was left with cold water only for shower. The washing machine was missing the "start" button, so it was useless. All the appliances were really old, I used to have a stove and microwave and washing machine like this in the 90s.

location great, in the middle of barrio alto neighbourhood spacious apartment, plenty of room for everything amenitites good, had coffee for the first mornings and complimentary bottle of typical portuguese liquer the communication with the host was great, always answered and the key transfer was fast and smooth.

kitchen smell coming from some of the open vent in the wall, that was not pleasant at all, maybe good for the host to fix it. in the bathroom there was a broken towel holder and the shower doors themselves didn't close properly. Again, small fixes needed but make the difference. bed mattress had a bit of a hole in the middle so sleep wasn't that great.

Wodnerful location, very quite, closest to everything you may need. The host has been so friendly with us! Highly recommended!

Great quality price balance for a good location (10min walking from Chiado and Barrio Alto) in Lisbon. Host is friendly and let me leave my baggage after check out just next to the apt. Only handicap: many stairs to get to the apt and they are pretty narrow. Not friendly for a big suitcase. But most of Lisbon places are like this, so I guess that is just fine.

All was good, very clean and had all the facilities. No faucet smell which is surprising, taking into account its Lisbon

Not that I didn’t like it, but be aware the stairs as VERY steeve. A 23kg regular luggage won’t fit.
