WHome Charming and historical apartment in Santa Justa

The location is incredible! The staff were also amazing to deal with. They were very responsive to any questions we had.

There were 103 stairs to get to the room (yes we counted) as it was on the 5th floor. We had a baby and my parents with us so it was a lot for us but it did make for incredible views.

Lovely location and a very pretty apartment. Very comfortable beds. Quiet at night-time with good windows and being high up.

The flights of stairs are a great free workout but watch out if you have any issues with mobility. We love cooking- some better pots and pans and sharp knives would have been appreciated. 6 person apartment but only 5 comfy chairs in the lounge.

The apartment is in a great location, right next to the Santa Justa lift. There are plenty of options for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.

After a slow unhappy start, our group was able to get a warm apartment (located on the 5th floor with no lift … some days challenging to tackle all the stairs). Maria was our contact (she was responsive by texts but unfortunately no quick outcome) and over 4 days we had to justify so many times that both heaters in the living and dining rooms were not working … right during winter in Lisbon! At last, Maria provided us with couple of portable heaters but after all that wait, the feeling is not great for our group. Also, it is a pity that the place only had 1 shower for our group of 6.

The property was in a great location, walking distance to everything, a brilliant location; inside the apartment was finished and equipped to a high standard and the host was friendly and helpful.

There were some disappointing surprises though. The listing did say access was by stairs... but failed to mention that this was 10 flights of stairs of ten steps each!! We thought 'two bathrooms and shower' meant two bathrooms both with a shower; but the apartment contained one bathroom with a shower plus an attic room with a sink and toilet under the eaves which an adult could not use standing up. And the building works in a lower flat had not finished, meaning it was dusty and noisy at times.

Arrived late due to flight delay but communication with property/late access was excellent

The location was excellent. It was in the center of the old town. It was convenient for old people like us to walk around to see interesting things. For an old house it was clean and comfortable. The young people we contacted were very nice and helpful.

To climb all the way to the fifth floor was a challenge for old people like us but we made it. There are a lot of tools in the kitchen but still not enough. It would be better if there was a larger pot for six of us. A pair of scissors also will make lives easier.
