Charming Apartment in Alfama

Good location and authentic environment. Enough space to get comfortable.

We were not prepared for the cool weather impact to the old housing structures. Luckily we had enough clothing to survive.

Var en ombyggnad i huset bredvid så det var lute skrämpigt, dock inget ljud därifrån så det var inte störande

Es war großräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage grundsätzlich war für Unternehmungen zu Fuß perfekt und das Viertel Alfatma hat schon was.

Der Weg zum Apartment bei Müllhalden vorbei (Gestank). Das vorm Eingang des Apartment immer Menschen gestanden und auf den Stufen vorm Eingang gesessen sind. Es war Tag und Nacht laut und daher konnten wir die Fenster nicht öffnen. Klimaanlage gab es aber keine. Und fast bei jedem Fenster hat man auf ein Abbruchhaus geschaut. (siehe Fotos) Einfach nicht zum Wohlfühlen.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

The sofa was covered by some kind of cloth, not as shown in the picture. Location could NOT be found. Eventually restaurant workers nearby took us indicating that everyone has this problem. The place was very musty and behind an alleyway. The entry road tiles were damaged so we didnt bring in our bags. The neighbors were unwelcoming and stood in the entry doorway from the street. This is NOT suitable for a visit. Guests should be clearly notified this is embedded in an unwelcoming neighborhood. We left immediately and lost all our deposit. Pictures of the outside and location should be provided. Misleading and terrible.

Great location with access to good restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Accommodation clean and spacious.

Olive oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, salt, pepper were provided. This is incredibly valuable to me. I like to prep some meals at home and coffee first thing is critical. Local shops do not provide small portions of these items.

The master bedroom smells faintly of sweat. I think the pillows may need to be replaced. The interior windows were excellent for creating air flow but from 18-23h, a fan is roaring and the apt fills with cooking smells. Outside the exterior windows can be noisy. The apt may need air con just to control noise. Large dinner plates are to large for the dishwasher so have to be washed by hand.
