We loved the cottage,was warm and inviting,definitely home from home,great location,the bedroom was beautiful 😍 We really didn't want to come home We stayed 3 days and completely switched off to home life And fabulous customer service, very helpful We will 100 % be back next year

The bed was a little too firm,but we just used the mattress topper provided,and parking was a little tricky some days

Central position in the old part of Whitby behind the harbour. The cottage had character. The main bedroom was spacious.

The second bedroom was very small, the steps to the property and in the cottage were steep.

Great Location for access to everywhere Inside property has kept the old style and exposed beams.

Didn’t realise there were steep steps to the property which caused a problem with my elderly mother. Shower screen is broken and doesn’t close which makes it difficult while getting a shower Sofa needs a good clean Outside light doesn’t work Bedding had a burn hole in (thankfully got changed upon raising with property owner)

The stairs are so close to the bathroom, so you do have to be very careful

Loved the location, loved that it was old and rustic.

No parking was less than ideal. They recommend parking on church street but that car park was full the entire 4 days I was in Whitby. Having to park a 15min walk away when I’m a single mum with two young kids was less than ideal. The noise levels were really bad too, again I’ve got children and the noise from the pub on Friday and Saturday kept my children awake really late. I know none of this can be helped, but I did find it difficult to navigate

Excellent location. 5 min walk to the heart of Whitby. All facilities catered for. Very comfortable bed. Great shower in bath.

Was a mix up with which property we were shown on booking.com. we may not have stayed if we knew where it was. 3 days parking was nearly £40 so take this into consideration. Bedroom carpet really stained. Front door let in loads of light so beware of early starts. Cutlery of poor quality. Fell apart when washed.

Such a wonderful cosy cottage in the historic centre of Whitby! We were there only for three nights and yet it felt like home. The cottage has all you need for a comfortable stay, everything was very clean and ready to use. The location is also great - Whitby abbey is just 5 minutes away and there’re a lot of shops & restaurants to explore.

The location was very good but it was extremely difficult to find parking.

It just felt a bit grubby. Mainly because the suite – the sofa and armchair in the lounge were very soiled and grubby. That would be such an easy thing to change and would have totally changed our opinion of the accommodation. We did not feel comfortable sitting on them because they just felt so grubby. The shower door doesn’t close as has been mentioned in many reviews, but nothing has been done about it. And the colour of the bedding and the towels was not aesthetically pleasing. They were dark brown They would be much better if they were white.

There was some confusion about which house we were staying, I was sent an address from the host but the link on Booking.Com was showing a slightly different location, further up in the same street. So we initially went to the wrong house. This was sorted out by the host. The house we stayed at was in a great location, very central and a nice small house for 2 people.

There is no parking included with this property and there was no where to park, we were issued a 50 fine for parking on the street, then we had to pay 11.90 each night when we managed to park in the car park, there is free parking on the street if you were ever lucky enough to get a spot but there was never any spaces in the free bit.
