The Coach House, Clifton and Parking - Hopewell

Very nice location, clean, everything you need

Great location.

It smelt a bit damp.

The location was great - near to the places I wanted to visit. The Coach House felt safe and quiet. The mezzanine bed area was pleasant and I opened the skylight above the bed which was lovely on a warm night. Hot water was instant.

The quality of the accommodation was disappointing. It had not been thoroughly dusted, cleaned or decorated for a long time. There were hairs on the floor in the seating area and a pillow case was stained. A replacement plastic loo seat was too small for the toilet bowl. Waste food left by the previous visitors was in the waste food bin under the sink. All as if whoever looks after the property doesn't care very much.

Gated private parking,quiet area wifi.

These concerns have been sent to the management company but no replies to my concerns. No usb sockets in property paided a cleaning fee but place was not clean. Dirt behind settee heavy mould in bathroom MAJOR CONCERN IS THERE IS NO WAY OF GETTING OUT OF THE BEDROOM IN A FIRE ONLY EXIT POINT IS DOWN THE STAIRS INTO THE FIRE ITSELF THE BEDROOM IS ENCLOSED AND UPSTAIRS I am considering making representation to the Bristol fire brigade. It's not a legal requirement but it should have the electrical pat testing done for peace of mind.

Brilliant location in the city and all clean and cosy.

Accommodation has 1 double bed on an mezzanine floor. and the accommodation is well equipped. Its self catering so we took some food with us but Tesco and coop stores and lots of individual shops near by. Its only a short walk to the local shops ,restaurants and bars which all deserve to be checked out. its about 20 mins walk into the City centre or bus stop near by should you need it.. We walked every time. never used the car as parking in the centre is a pain. So having the parking space was Great. Lots to visit nearby, Clifton suspension bridge and information centre, museums, Markets and music venues.

When we visited it was probably the coldest days of the years and unfortunately the heating on some days was not adequate, some people have mentioned this as well however i reckon 350 days of the year it will be OK. could do with some sockets next to the bed.
