The Coach House, Clifton and Parking - Hopewell

Great location in Clifton, especially welcome was the parking. The accommodation provided enough space that a longer stay would be possible. When the smoke alarm battery failed, sending the alarm off, the response from the agent/ owner was swift and sorted the problem.

My own fault, but the bed had a feather quilt and the agents couldn't replace it.

Location lovely. Interesting walks to town and the river. Attractive area, great buses. Very original building, converted well, quirky, well thought out. Facilities all good.

The shower had no 'trap' on the drain, so very cold air coming up and aroma. The bed was comfy and clean but a small double to fit the mezzanine so didn't sleep much one night.

Dedicated parking is always a really important consideration for me in an overnight stay. The secure parking was therefore appreciated, especially in Bristol, where contention is high for on-street parking. The property was clean and tidy. It's a cute and quirky old coach house in a good location. Communication and access instructions were excellent and timely. It fulfilled all my expectations..

Not so much 'I didn't like' but more of an advisory to prospective guests. The parking is just inside the gates on the left. You have to park very close to the wall in order not to block access. On departure, one has to get the vehicle onto the street and then, of course, return the key fob to the key safe on the gate. So, you have to find somewhere to park in order to undertake this part of the procedure. It was a cold night. The mezzanine level where the bed is, is much colder than the main space and I would have appreciated a heavy blanket in addition to the duvet.

Safe parking ,safe streets and a easy walk to the Redgrave theatre or food outlets.

It was a lovely little property.

Unfortunately the bed wasn’t very comfortable, me and my friend woke up with bad backs and got woke up around 7am with builders across the road.

A lovely property that was super convenient for us because of the parking space, it was just over the road from the student union where we were attending for an event.

Only very slight downside was the bed, which we found a little uncomfortable. But beds are personal preference (hence the 9/10 instead of 10/10).
