Ferny Hill Retreat, Emerald Victoria

The house and garden were stunning, I loved all the art work and decorations and how comfortable the place was, Carmel has thought of every little detail to make the place like a home from home. So glad to have found this place and can’t wait to come stay again.

Nothing not to like

Carmel was a lovely host and we loved the quirky artwork. A great central area for visiting the Dandenongs.

The host was welcoming and the accommodation was beautifully presented. Great breakfast supplied. Comfortable and relaxing.

It's a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and stylish, the kitchen is fully functional and equipped with a lot more than you'd normally need for a short stay. The host is very friendly and providing all needs you could possibly have, she also has a great eye for detail that made my stay very comfortable!

Great host, met us on arrival and showed us the property and gave us a good run-down on the area

The apartment is well appointed with everything you could want and is full of all sorts of quirky, interesting artwork and collections. The location is in a beautiful, bush valley and the garden out the back is also full of artworks, sitting areas and flowering plants. A secluded little paradise. Carmel is a fabulous hostess and loves sharing the lovely environment she has created. Easter Sunday morning she even gave us a big Easter egg!

Only that we were unable to spend much time there as we were at a conference all 3 days.

The host was amazing! She gave me a run down of the gardens and the wildlife that can be seen visiting. There was fresh bread and eggs, and multiple rooms to chill in. I will be back!
