The checkout time is supposed to be 10:am at least and there are hidden costs such as service fee R200 and a cleaner R400 totaling R600

The place was in a safe and secure location. The unit was clean and bright, we had everything we needed. It’s close to shops and malls.

Showers were a struggle no water pressure at all

Location was good. I stayed at Whale Rock in another unit a couple of years ago and the experience was good but it has become a party hotspot.

It was rowdy all day, every day. There was black mould on the walls, lamps and lights. It was dusty. There was no iron. There were cockroaches in the apartment. There was no comfort. Everything was old and showed wear. Towels were so bad. The beds also need replacing. There was a damp smell throughout the apartment. Pillows had no shape at all. Almost like there were none. I was not happy at all with the price I paid. I definitely expected better. There is constant light in main bedroom because the light from the neighbours balcony shines in all night and the blinds don’t cover anything. The main bedroom is next to the neighbours balcony so you won’t sleep until they do. It is also a rental so you can expect a party time.
