AUAUPeace & tranquil location. Just up the road from the local pub was a bonus. We like the fact that people are renovating old buildings & using them again instead of demolishing & putting up new dwellings.
The lounge was a little too soft for us but that’s just our personal preference. A curtain over the back door would help keep the room warmer in winter & also give you more privacy in the kitchen/lounge area.
AUWe all loved it and were very pleased we weren’t in Clare. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
Because we were older the in spa showers were a bit of a challenge but because we were a group several showers were held in the end room.
AUMintaro is wonderful & we really enjoyed our stay.
The spa was great but the shower head over the spa is barely functional. It is very difficult to stand under & get wet because the shower head won't stay up. Therefore we had to duck under it & lean backwards (to get shampoo out of hair). This made us feel like we may fall backwards. A nice new shower head that came out a bit further from the wall would be excellent.

AUThere was no breakfast.
Took 24 hours for maintenance man to return calls. The owner never responded to any calls or text message. There were mice running around. There were no basic supplies like paper towel or cooking oil. The minute kitchen could use a good clean. The fridge was so small it could barely hold any food. It's quite dark inside really hard to read by.
