Location and access to restaurant/pub, wineries

Very small cottage that took “rustic” to a new level, the kitchen is literally in a wardrobe and impossible to cook on, leather seats the stitching has fallen apart exposing cushion stuffing on both couches, ceiling leaks water and cut power off, electric heater not very good, tools for the wood fire was a metal stick and impractical, garden in a very unkept state. Someone needs to go and check these cottages to ensure they meet required standards for Booking.Com, we feel this one definitely does not.

Shower is over a spa bath and difficult to get into and out and dangerously slippery!

Good location but no breakfast

Quiet location, cosy feel, walking distance to the pub. Close to wineries and attractions.

Close proximity to others. Stayed in Scholar and the entrance doors have glass panels and no curtains. People staying next door were gawking in every time they came and went, the kitchen, dining and living areas are very exposed, making it feel like it wasn’t private at all. Definitely not suitable for eating a leisurely breakfast in your lingerie 🤣. Plastic cooking utensils were a fail, totally melted the end of spatula on the first day.

Oozing charm and old world character, an absolute delight to stay at this beautiful cottage.

It's so close to an excellent pub, the maze, Martindale Hall, etc. It was cosy, and charming, and definitely not soulless or over-polished!

The location was great. Able to walk to Hotel and Winery and where other friends were staying

The four poster bed mattress was fine to sleep on but too small for the wooden poster bed. Was hard to get out over the wooden sides of the bed with a gap between mattress and wooden sides.
