Worst beds and mattress. Over grown garden, dirty and very little condiments etc.

Absolutely stunning little historic village - breathtaking scenery. Incredible to stay in a cottage built in 1850’s.

Sweet little kitchen in a cupboard, with everything you need - but it was pretty basic, no clean scourers or sponges available, and some rusty dirty unusable pans under the sink. Utensils damaged and some unusable.

The spa was great, fire place made it nice and cosy, walking distance to the pub and coffee shops, nice and quiet, lots of space to park your car, owner is lovely! Locked ourselves out and received help promptly.

The overall sum up of it is, it just needs some attention and TLC. It was a cosy and pleasant stay, but we stayed in Jolly’s Rest and found the bed pretty uncomfortable, actually overall the bedroom wasn’t great (my husband joked about sleeping on the leather lounge instead) the ceiling fan is noisy. I would also recommend bringing an eyemask if you like the dark, as the smoke alarm is directly over the bed, with a bright light which shone over us all night. I feel the kitchen also needs some new amenities, the frypan was terrible to use and everything stuck to it. There’s also a smart tv, but as you are in an internet blackhole it’s basically useless, so some wifi might be good?

The accommodation was adequate for us. There was sufficient by way of cooking needs. The fire was great.

The spa did not work on all jets negating its benefit. The notes we received re purchasing extra wood for fire was inaccurate as the store no longer operates. Being in a black hole for mobile phone especially was not good.

Its not comfortable, lighting is not good especially in kitchen area. Garden was unkept

It's quiet and comfortable. Good set up for a family

Nothing. Just note that the internet coverage is intermittent if reliant on this (we weren't so it wasn't a bother)
