Hampden Apartments - The Catherine

It would have been good to have a low light available for sofa bed . .

Lots of room to spread out, huge bed, great shower. The location was fantastic a quick easy walk right to the castle, easy to navigate as it was a straight walk down the street to town. Safe secure parking so we didn’t need to worry bout the car

Would have been good to have some info handy ie how to turn the wifi router on, we figured it out but a bit of a challenge for the jet lagged. Showers could do with a bit of a spruce up

Maintenance of apartment. With a little more attention to detail and the fixing of a number of issues the apartment would be A1

Fantastic Location and very spacious.

The flat is advertised as “Deluxe” Main bedroom, bed linen had dirty marks on and pubic hair on sheets. Bedside lamp completely broken in main bedroom. Mould on ceiling in bathroom and mould around shower tray. Second bedroom small and bed slats were broken. Ceiling light in living room was flickering. 4 of us stayed and not enough hot water for all of us to have a shower on the same day. It was extremely hot weather and windows do not open. 2 fans were provided which is good but ideally need another for the other bedroom. Kitchen sink did not drain water. Entrance hallway to main building could be made more welcoming. I see from previous reviews guests have said the same and it appears the issues have not been addressed.

Great location and large apartment with parking .

The apartment had a strange smell throughout the kitchen and living area . The apartment overall wasn’t particularly clean with lots of dust on the blinds and the floor unclean. We travelled with two small children . When using the shower the water was either cold or scalding hot so we didn’t use the facilities as much as we would have usually on a trip. Overall this was not good value for money . We have stayed in far more central locations in Windsor for a lower price. Unfortunately we were disappointed.

The location , the layout of the apartment. It was spacious and had most things we needed. Early check in ws appreciated, as was the tea / coffee supplies!

4 of us were staying, but there were only 3 mugs!! The weather was awful, and whilst the umbrella in the apartment was a good touch, the gutters were blocked, so water was tumbling down the walls and over the entrance.
