This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Smartflats - Louise Brussels in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests do not receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. Please note that Smartflats has no reception on-site. In order to check in, guests need to bring the access codes they receive from the accommodation by e-mail 1 day before the date of arrival. Guests have access to the Smartflats Lounge at Rue du Charbon 9 - 1000 Brussels. Cleaning costs are included in the price of the stay. However, please note that if the accommodation is left in an excessive state of dirtiness the property will charge an additional cleaning fee. Please note that in case of damage, an extra fee will be charged. Please note that hosting a party, smoking and/or bringing pets is not allowed, otherwise an extra fee is charged for compensation. Sofa Bed Policy: Please note that the sofa bed is only prepared when the maximum capacity of the flat or maximum capacity minus 1 person is reached. In other cases, the sofa bed is upon request when booking and at an extra cost of EUR 25 per stay. There is no elevator at the property and upper floors are only accessible by stairs. The upper floors are not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

"Very unpleasant experience."

It was spacious

They changed the apartment we booked with another one two nights before arrival. It was dirty with hairs everywhere, all the chairs had really bad spots. The coffee machine was broken and was leaking all the time. In addition, there were no kitchen facilities - no kettle, not even a saucepan to boil water for tea. There was no internet connection as the mentioned wifi from the instructions.

"Very poor"

The location is good.

The boiler system was very bad, to the point that we could not take a shower or get warm water for two days. On the first day, I kept contacting the management to find out how the heating system works and they sent me a video explaining how to operate it, but it did not work. After many hours, we contacted the management to find out the reason and they sent us new operating instructions that were different from those in the video. After successfully operating the boiler, we had to turn it off for two reasons. The first was the loud noise it made and because it was evening and the children had to sleep and the boiler was only a quarter of a meter away from the bed. The second reason was because there was a water leak near the electrical wires. The same thing happened on the second day. We went out in the morning and returned in the evening and the same thing happened again and we were not able to take a shower for two days. I think that the boiler system is not at all suitable for such apartments because it makes a loud noise and is very close to the bed.

Jeg har bodd smartflats 2 ganger, og jeg opplever at kvalitet og komfort kommer an på hvordan rom du får. Mitt første opphold var på rom 001, og det var betydelig bedre enn rom 002. Renholdet var noe dårlig, rommet var kaldt og kjøkkenet var dårlig utstyrt. Men beliggenheten er veldig bra og lett å komme i kontakt med personalet.

Never received information on how to check in. Had to call a few times to be able to check in. Shower had no privacy. No curtain or door. The outside was very dirty. Entrance in to building was missing tiles , big mess, dirty.

The room itself is very nice, but the building is in poor condition. Many rooms are undergoing restoration or construction, resulting in excessive noise, dust, and debris scattered throughout the premises. Additionally, there is no elevator.

Bad smell, toilet flush didn't work well, linen didn't seem very clean, hot water in the shower didn't work (had to get out to reset the boiler), poor upkeep in general. Definitely not recommended.
