GOCCE VILLAS - El Royale Suites Sorrento

A magnificent, spacious apartment in the very heart of Sorrento. My wife said the kitchen was every cook’s dream. Just steps away from a free beach and the main street, Corso Italia. The hostess warmly welcomed us and helped us settle in comfortably. Highly recommended for a family vacation.

the size of the apartment was good the location was great ....that's it

i have never complained about accomodation ...ever!! but it was filthy...appliances were minimal and dirty every second crockery was dirty, floor was filthy, place was very dusty built up grime, foyer smelt bad , no starters eg coffee and tea tin empty even though we were told they were supplied for starters, towels were rough and threadbare. one bedroom air conditioner didn't work, oven didn't work and bread board was mouldy...disgusted. the only good thing was the bed linen was acceptable and host was lovely and location was good. not enough photo space to show more

The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. It was very close to the main street with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Communication could be better. The address on Booking.com was not correct and therefore we couldn't locate the apartment. However we were eventually able to get in touch with Grazia who was lovely, but it was just a bit stressful at first not knowing where to find the property and not having any communication to advise this. If something had been sent ahead of time to confirm the details it would have been helpful.

The apartment the perfect place for my wife, sister and brother in la to stay at in Sorrento. The location couldn't be more convenient, as it is right in the middle of Sorrento, but tucked away just enough to provide a bit of an escape from the livelier parts of town. The apartment itself provided plenty of space for the four of us, with the secondary shower a very welcome bonus. The balcony, laundry and full kitchen (though we didn't use much of it) ere also great additions for anyone looking for a slightly extended stay. Our host was also very friendly and helpful, getting us out of a bit of a jam with helping us get a taxi booking after our ferry from Positano was canceled due unexpectedly bad weather.

The stay really was fantastic. Our only small note was finding it was a little tricky, but the building is down the cul-de-sac by the art gallery the last apartment on the left. Once we found it everything else was wonderufl.
