The Middlewood - Luxury self contained retreat

Very well equipped and homely! The hosts were so welcoming and nearby if you need anything, the location is perfect with lots of activities nearby, and a train station that goes directly to Manchester. Would really recommend!

So clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely gesture to leave a fresh loaf, milk and butter (and chocolates!) in the fridge. A lovely warm welcome from Lou, I felt very safe and slept like a baby!

The Middlewood is a very comfortable property with lots of little touches that made a big difference such as night lights in the hall and bathroom and chocolates in the fridge. Phil and Lou were very easy to communicate with and any questions we had were answered in a timely manor.

The bedroom was luxurious as described, luxury retreat, as was the bathroom's underfloor heating. We liked the well stocked fridge, also the tea, ground coffee, sweets and particularly the fudge The bowl of fruit and fresh flowers were a nice touch. It was very peaceful.

Nothing really, apart from lack of control of heating especially in the kitchen. We do like some private outdoor space though I appreciate it would be difficult for you.( I think this should still be a smile face.)

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped accommodation. Lots of little extras provided such as fresh bread, fruit, milk, fresh orange juice, and chocolates in addition to tea, coffee, jams and butter. Both the double bed and the sofa bed were extremely comfortable. Nice big walk-in shower and underfloor heating in the bathroom another wee touch of luxury. Excellent and prompt communication from the host on property location, and how to get the key and access the property.
