The Middlewood - Luxury self contained retreat

Private parking and got everything what we needed.

Nothing to dislike but door wasn’t locking from inside which they have to fix.

The location is beautiful, although a little difficult to find in the dark. Lou was very helpful in guiding us to our destination, even at a late hour she was friendly and very accommodating. Everything was at a high standard and luxurious, even the coffee and the treats in the fridge. Would definitely recommend!

Located in a lovely area with plenty of walks close by. The accommodation was secure, spotless, and really comfortable, especially the bed. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Couldn't ask for more!

Everything was perfect!

The whole place was immaculately clean. Lovely little touches everywhere, fresh loaf of bread on arrival was very much appreciated. The king size bed and bedding was the comfiest I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom with underfloor heating was a surprise bonus! We wanted for nothing and the hosts were fantastic. Nothing was too much bother and if we did need anything, they were only to happy to accommodate. We will be coming back, that’s for sure!

The hosts Lou and Phil provide a welcoming and very comfortable space with lots of lovely touches to make you feel welcome. Great parking behind an automated gate and key pick up was a doddle. Amazingly comfortable bed and sofa. The bread that was left for me was fantastic, as were the chocolates left in the fridge (which were significantly diminished by the time I left 😋). Overall a very comfortable and stress free stay, thank you!

The icing on the cake for me would be to have the TV in the living area rather than the bedroom, just so when I finish work, I can relax for the evening without having to lay on the bed. It’s not a big issue and would definitely not stop me from staying again.

Beautiful accommodation in lovely location. Plenty of room for car. Delightful hosts who couldn’t have been more accommodating. Lots of lovely touches - really appreciated the treats in the kitchen. If we are back in the area we would definitely try to book here. My son and I can’t recommend it enough.
