Das Apartment war ok, wenn auch z.T. etwas heruntergekommen.

Um das Apartment zu betreten, muss man einen kleinen Weg neben einer Hausruine entlang gehen, wo überall Müll, menschliche Exkremente und widerliches undefinierbares liegt. Uns kam das Abendessen wieder hoch. Wären wir nicht erst spät abends angekommen, hätten wir das Apartment storniert. Der Betreiber reagierte auf unsere Beschwerde mit einem "Danke für Ihre Kritik" - aber weiter kommen wir Ihnen nicht entgegen. Für mich heißt das: nie wieder Polka Stays!

It was close to the event we were attending at the Winter Gardens.

The amount of rubbish in the bays along the access path and on the flat roofs. The front door keypad numbers are incredibly difficult to see during daylight hours, especially in bright sunshine. There is only one toilet in the apartment for six people, which caused issues for our party. The shower wasn’t working so we couldn’t use it on the Friday and Saturday morning. It was only by chance we encountered maintenance at the apartment and they managed to get it working. Although it kept going hot to cold and the water slowed to a trickle whenever other taps in the building were being used. There was no TV in the living room as depicted in the photographs on the booking site and the apartment was dirty and generally in a poor state of repair. The bedding was tatty and felt dirty and we couldn’t get hot water from the toilet/shower room sinks.

The property was not clean, wallpaper was peeling off the walls due to damp, the couch was disgusting had multiple big stains on them, the pillows were dirty and stained. The hot water didnt work the first or second say it then started working but would go freezing cold immediately. The entrance wasn’t safe it was down an alley way which had bottles of beer broken wood and waste. There were junkies injecting drugs in alley way leading to this as there is no gate to stop people going down. One of the adults in the property had to phone the police as herself and 2 children age 5 couldn’t get out without walking down this alley with men in whilst taking drugs. Over all the state of the accommodation was not upto standard and it had an awful smell surrounding the full property. We made several complaints to owners who basically said they can spray air freshener then waited to 8/9pm and said probably better we vacate the property, which being 200 miles from home and down at a competition with multiple children was not possible.

Absolutely disgraceful the way the staff are robbed out deposit accused us of being rude! Wen we wasn’t took £200 deposit an tired taking another £171 on top of that they are the rude ones very appealing from a business I’m a local aswell so it’s not like I’m new to Blackpool imagine it u paid for holiday n got treated this way if didn’t have more than one bank they would of robbed me £400!!!! DO NOT GO HERE ABSOLUTE SCAM for money I also paid for late checkout fee!!!

Great location and the rooms were nice decor a bit tatty and no living room as sacrificed for an additional bedroom.

No hot running water during our stay which was awful and the flat was like an oven when we arrived. It was almost impossible to controll the heating, sauna or nothing. The entrance to the flat was unpleasant and a bit frightening at night not lit and a mess with hidden old coal bunkers so that wasn't very good and the door code sensor didn't work in the sunlight and often you couldn't read the numbers or see where to enter the codes, we were told we were lucky it was sunny, funny, but not much sense of humour when you can't get into the apartment building for half an hour.
