I liked the location, the place was spacious

The bathroom door didn't shut or lock which made it uncomfortable sometimes. The cover wasn't big enough on one of the beds.

Im very sad to write this review as I have stayed here many times in the past but I feel it is only fair to the host and future guests to be honest. Our stay at this property was unfortunately disappointing due to several significant issues. Most concerning was the leaking roof, which required a bucket to collect water. This bucket was placed on the stairway, creating both an inconvenience and a safety hazard. This situation was not disclosed beforehand, and it significantly impacted our experience. Additionally, the upper level had visible mould spores, which raised concerns about air quality and cleanliness. The bathroom was also problematic: the door did not close properly, and the bath was dirty upon arrival. To make matters worse, there was no tea towel provided, a small but essential item for basic kitchen use. Overall, these issues made our stay uncomfortable and fell far below the standard we expected from an Airbnb listing. We strongly urge the host to address these problems to ensure a better experience for future guests.

There were buckets dotted around the property and the stairs collecting water that was leaking through into the property. We have had considerable bad weather lately, so the constant leaking water hitting the bucket was a nuisance to our gang that were working away and also disrupted their sleep. The buckets required emptying during their stay and it's disappointing that we were not informed of this beforehand. The leaks require attention.

Great place , easy to find , close to everything

It was clean and tidy. Very lovely landlady who let us put our cases inside before check in. Lovely cafe underneath the apartment where we had breakfast. The mattress in the upper bed room needs updating! It was very soft and felt like you were going in the middle of the bed. Great location.

Lots of stairs! 3 floors!

Great location, comfy beds, lovely shower and bathroom.

Tiny kitchen with no cooker, can opener, wine glasses. Limited dining space. No games, books, tourist information or visitors books. Difficult to air as windows don’t all open and so a bit musty, particularly after leaking roof window. Some areas could have been fresher (eg cutlery and cutlery drawer, crockery and outdoor space).

The place is old and in need of renovating but was clean and well-located with good facilities.

The down side of being located so close to shops and seaside was that it was quite noisy at night. I would have given this place a better rating if it were not for the fact that the skylight above the stairs leaked heavily when it rained during the night. As I said, clean but in need of renovations!

Location is in the heart of Weymouth, ease access to the beach and any local amenities. Cheap accommodation, good value for money.

Cleanliness could be improved, some dishes and cutlery have crumbs or looked unclean. At the heart of Weymouth, it can get rowdy at night. No parking on site, although the host provided information on nearby overnight parking. Note that the southern bridge goes up a few times a day, which can cause massive traffic delays.
