JOIVY Luxury Flat near Edinburgh Castle

The flat was clean and well furnished with comfy beds. As you would expect in an old building the floor was very creaky. Would have scored higher but there was building work back and front and we were not warned about it

The location is great, close to interesting landmarks like the Castle and close to shopping. I liked how smart the apartment is, many amenities and every basic you need to stay a day or a few in Edinburgh. Good beds and plenty of space to keep your clothes. I also apperciated that they have plenty of hangers in the closets. The people I contacted from Joivy were very helpful and nice. There is a world class restaurant right beside the apartment and the view is amazing.

I hadnt read the description properly and was shocked when I found out that there are 65 steep steps up to the apartment as I am 72 years old with bad arms, and had heavy luggage. However I was lucky enough to get assistance to get my luggage upstairs.

Tolle Lage, sehr schöne Zimmer und moderne Ausstattung. Ja, es gibt viele Treppen (kein Aufzug), aber sie sind nicht sehr steil.

Das man erst kurz vor der Anreise erfährt, wo man die Schlüssel findet und sich dafür einem komplizierten Online -Verifizierungsprozess aussetzen muss.

It’s a modern and beautifully designed apartment in a vintage building. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the new town, with everything close by and professionally managed. Yes, you’ll need to climb approximately 65 steps, but trust me, you won’t feel it. The steps aren’t too steep, and at the top, a beautiful apartment awaits you—well worth the climb.

We stayed here on what was probably the hottest day, so having a fan would have been a great help.
