Location, comfortable beds, cleanliness

Poor illumination, bed lamps and kitchen lamps out of order (no one came in 4 days to fix), dishwasher and stove hood out of order, wobbly dining table (never fixed since 2022 as I read in previous comments), obligation to dispose the waste (two streets away)!!!

Great location on George St. Nice clean apartment, well furnished and no complaints at all Only point to note is need to carry cases etc up flight of stairs and no lift so if cannot, this is defo not for you

Lovely spot with very clean apt. Plenty of room. Beautiful old building with classic architecture.

Lock box for keys was quite far from property and did not operate correctly. Also the phone assist was poor.

The location was great in terms of walking around Scotland. It worked very well as a "home base". The beds were very comfortable and the entire unit was very clean.. the bathroom had good shower pressure, but it was difficult even with the fan to keep everything from getting wet from the steam.

Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. First, the information they gave us for check in wasn't quite right, the pictures of both the lock box and the keys didn't match what was actually given. (Also, going to a lock box several minutes away from the property is just weird and not something one wants to worry about at the end of a long travel day). The Internet network they advertise never showed up to connect, to their credit they sent someone out the next day to address it. The property was on the 4th floor with no lift and the stairs are treacherous. Unfortunately, the rooms are too. With the unusual ceiling layout you had to be very careful getting out of bed to not hit your head. One night, I wasn't as careful as it was dark and I brained myself pretty hard. The doors to the bedrooms also do not latch. To keep the doors from opening and shutting with the breeze all night long, we had to physically put something in front of the door. Again, not something you want to be dealing with in the middle of the night when you're just trying to go to the bathroom. Most egregious to me, they gave us less than one roll of toilet paper for 3 people and 5 days. When I messaged to ask about where they keep the extras, I was told I was welcome to go to the store and purchase more. So glad I was welcome to do that! Are you kidding me! This place bills itself as a luxury flat and I have to bring my own TP? Not ok. Also, I'm fairly certain the building is run by a large management company that knows very little about all the properties they run. I also think the home base might not be in the UK. Although they were very quick to respond to messages, they didn't seem to understand what I was talking about and worse told me information that didn't pertain to the actual unit I was in.

Keys were in a different location than the apartment. The information sent on the email stated the keys were outside the property and then when we arrived and called for help they told us they were somewhere different? then there was a choice of 6 Key locks with no indication which one was the right lockbox so took forever to unlock.

Uncomfortable sofa and seating area, washing machine was broken which was very frustrating. A lot of stairs to climb with heavy suitcases.. feel the apartment was generally overpriced.
