JOIVY Luxury Flat near Edinburgh Castle

Lovely modern flat and great location to explore Edinburgh.. Walking distance from the old town and 5min walk from tram which brings you to the airport and plenty of buses.

The telly in one of the bedrooms didn't work and there are lots of stairs if that does not suit you.

The design of the house, quality of the materials are so lovely. The street it’s located on is very elegant and is close to the tourist attractions.

Climbing 65 steps with suitcases can be a bit tiring, but it’s worth it.

The kitchen was dirty. The internet didn’t work, and I contacted the staff to let them know that it didn’t work (I reset the modem and it still flashed red) and was told to use the lower flat’s internet that didn’t work most of the time. Very frustrating. Unrelated to the staff, the flat is up several flights of stairs without a lift. I don’t believe this is outlined well so if you have any sort of disability this is not a good fit. Additionally, it is on quite a loud and busy street. Picking up the key and returning it post-visit was a bit annoying, but right around the corner from the flat.

You need to be fit to enjoy this flat! I believe there are 69 steps to get up to it from street level.
