Central Mezzanine Apartment in Historic School

Perfect location, a lot of space, good showers

It could have more curtains, it is quite bright early in the morning

The spaciousness of the apartment, the private parking & the location was spot on the garden was an extra bonus but was in need of a tidy

No tv was a shock but survived without it, but a heads up that there is no tv would have been nice could have taken tablets

Really great location, close to restaurants and an easy walk to the Royal Mile. The place was really clean when we arrived. Communication was quite easy and the check in instructions were clear. The apartment is very bright and sunny and felt very spacious.

Recommend bringing an eye mask as it gets very bright in the morning. It was quite expensive for the weekend we stayed.

Great apartment at a nice location. It has two toilet rooms and a well equipped kitchen.

The description on how to retrieve the keys was inaccurate and we had a hard time regulating the shower temperature.

The boiler was broken for the first few nights, very difficult in near 0 degree weather. Also no hot water, so couldn't wash well in the apartment

Location was perfect. Parking included in the total cost. Bed was also very comfy.

Cleanliness of the bathroom. - when showering the first night, the bath drain was clogged with masses of hair on the first night. - the image provided isn’t even the worst of it, we’d flushed a load beforehand! - we had to clear this ourselves by using a hair grip as the bath water wasn’t going down at all. - the extractor fan was also full of dust. Unclear instructions on getting into the property. - message is as per the photos saying the key safe is opposite the building but this is the wrong one! No note to say actual location of key safe. - key safe is actually at the side of the building against the fence. - this resulted in calling the property and paying for parking outside the gated property until resolved.

we were provided with dirty sheets and blankets. the dishes were dirty. when we asked to come and bring clean sheets no one answered us. they finally told us they would call housekeeping and upgrade us. of course that never happened.

The location was great, and the property itself was really nice. It was great that it came with parking. The bathroom was quite dated however and the shower didn’t drain very much.

The communication with the staff was definitely the worst thing about this property. They sent multiple messages with conflicting information on both check in & check out. Despite it being self check in, they called/messaged/emailed with differing information. On check out, they requested a message to confirm that we had left the property. After informing them of that, they then requested a photo of the keys left in the drop box, even after we had left the property. It was quite stressful having to deal with them which is not ideal when trying to relax on holiday.
