Central Mezzanine Apartment in Historic School

One door that could not lock. Really not safe. Plus no curtains for massive windows, wake up at 4:30.

The high ceilings, the kitchen, it was spotless clean.

Asked for the sheets for the sofa bed to be prepared and the were not so had to hint for them.

The location is very good.

Location, location location! Amazing location and what a beautiful city Edinburgh is, a must see!! People are so friendly and accommodating ❤️

We had an early flight and arrived far too early for our check in time, we informed the host unfortunately they couldn’t accommodate and that’s perfectly fine! When we were due to check in the key lock box was jammed and would not open! We contacted our host, who told us to tap the box and that the code was correct. After 30 minutes of trying to open it, our host then told us we had to walk 20 minutes to pick up extra keys 😞 not good when we had luggage and had already been waiting 6 hours after a long flight from Australia. On arrival to our accommodation the place was filthy. Dust, left over rubbish, toilet not flushed, mould, a beautiful courtyard that had rubbish and cigarette butts everywhere even though the property stated it was smoke free. Very, very disappointing. All this beautiful place needs is a coat of paint, extra bedding, tidy up the courtyard, put a TV in, and clean it properly after each guest. I looked at the kitchen cupboards to find empty cleaning bottles. Seemed like the place hasn’t had a proper deep clean in a while. For the price we paid, I’m very disappointed in the service we received.

Run down & incredibly dirty. mould in the bathroom and broken utilities.

The room is very modest, someone else's hair on the bed sheet.
