The location was superb, super central and easy to get to transport links.

I recently stayed at this apartment in Liverpool (adveritised as stunning), and I must say, my experience was far from satisfactory. There were several issues that made the stay uncomfortable and disappointing. First, the bathroom was in terrible condition. The toilet seat was broken, making it awkward and unpleasant to use. There was also noticeable damp on the walls with peeling paint, which is not only unsightly but a potential health concern. In the kitchen, the situation wasn't much better. The cutlery was rusty and broken—clearly not maintained properly. Also, there was no microwave, which made it challenging to prepare simple meals. The advertised amenities were misleading, as there was no iron or ironing board in the apartment, which was quite inconvenient. To add to the frustration, the hairdryer provided was faulty and loud. Another major issue was the WiFi. It didn’t work at all during our stay, despite asking for the password and requesting assistance to fix it. This made it difficult to stay connected or plan activities for our trip. To top it off, there was no shower gel provided, which seemed like a basic amenity that should have been available.

Location not in a nice road

Comunication with host after stay to retrieve our deposit of 200 pounds if she would have let us know it would be there in 5 day we would have been ok about it but silence for those days was not good

Warning !!! —————— DO NOT transfer Deposit Money to this owner if they ask you to COZ use will NOT get the money back, they WONT even BOTHER to reply you at all… I’m thinking of filing a police report on this

*EVERYTHING!!! they TOOK my deposit, REFUSED to REFUND nor REPLY to my messages !!!! The whole building had water disruption issue on 2nd & last day of my stay. I contacted owner and she finally decided to book a hotel (Ropewalks hotel) nearby due to the issue, the same thing happened on my last day of stay , she told me they dunno when the water is coming back and advised me to check out early and find another hotel on my own but later decided to extend my stay in the same hotel as before which is what she should be doing anyway since water is crucial. I thought she’s doing a great job NOT KNOWING she’s ACTUALLY planning to USE the deposit and NOT willing to take full responsibility of what’s happening. I’ve been trying to contact her for days via text messages as well as booking.com but even after 6 days NOT even a Single reply . I hope BOOKING.COM will handle this issues wisely and professionally … I’m gonna screenshot ( prove )my feedback see if it’s going to be on the review or it will be deleted and if booking.com will handle the issue or not

"Do not trust the owner Julie"

Location

Was asked 2 weeks before my stay to send over a £200 holding fee incase of damages, which I agreed to send over but not until the day of check in. On the morning of our stay I transferred Julie the £200 holding fee which she promised to return back to me once we had checked out and cleaner had confirmed there was no damages. Firstly Julie knew we were arriving at 1pm and didn’t send over the key code to collect the keys until 15 minutes before along with property postcode and location of where to pick keys up from the communication on that morning was shocking, anyway we got there, got keys and got to apartment which was very central. The apartment itself was pleasant, apart from hairs on bathroom floor, in the bath and sink and tv stand that hadn’t seen a duster everything else was clean, fresh bedding, towels etc it was nice, Julie then rang to see if had settled in ok, talked us through how to work things and gave us recommendations for pubs etc which was nice of her. Fast forward 2 days, we checked out, left keys where we picked them up from, messaged Julie to let her know and passed on my details for her to refer holding fee back to. No answer. I waited, then 2 days passed, no response and still no money. I rang, no answer, I messaged again for her to reply saying she had been unwell and was waiting to hear from cleaner who she was going to chase up, fair enough. Next day I asked if she had managed to contact cleaner, no response, later that night I messaged again to say if she didnt respond to me or pay my money back I was going to take it further and contact booking.com. She replied saying she is still unwell and she would send money the next day and not to message again (rude) the next day still no money and ignored my messages again, I then contacted booking.com and told them the situation, the following day booking.com contacts her and surprise surprise she sends my money back.
