The Snug Garden Apartment

Cleanliness, sitting area awful ripped seating no comfort at all the kitchen area cupboards etc sink all in need of refurbishing as cracked, oven dirty & gas on top no ignition also needed a free standing lamp in area as only one big light with numerous bulbs not working also clock not working entrance hall all very poor the whole apartment needs refurbishing & decorating , linen & towels good ,fridge not working correctly & no freezer compartment drainage board rusty plug in bathroom not attached & rusting toilet seat not secure. The whole apartment needs a good deep clean plus only one teaspoon ! It is not 3 star or even 2 !

The town centre location is really good. The kichenette is well stocked and there were plenty of cleaning materials. It's on the ground floor. The main double bed is really comfortable and there are plenty of towels and ample bedding. There were also plenty of toilet rolls. No kitchen rolls but that wasn't an issue.

1) The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and the instructions for setting it up were inaccurate. The instructions said to pull the arms of the sofa up and out to bring the bed out but it is the seat cushions of the sofa, in 1, that needed to be taken off the sofa and then pulling from deep within the back of the sofa to pull the bed up and out. 2) The tenants/people in the flat above the snug garden apartment were very noisy and had their TV volume on loud enough to be heard in the early hours. They were also moving around and we could hear them moving, on a par with furniture moving and drilling and hammering. This noise level prevented us from sleeping each night until 3am! 3) The worst aspect was locking the front door. On the outside, the key is used. It sticks a bit but it is lockable. From inside the apartment, at night. the lock on the front door was almost impossible to lock. The key is not used, it's a turn nob. It took us more than 10 minutes, each night, to secure the lock. The double lock, inside the apartment, (pushing the handle up and turning the lock 360 degrees clockwise) needed for locking the door, does not 'catch' properly in its socket when the door is closed. We tested the lock multiple times on the opened door by pushing the handle up and turning the actual lock and we were able to turn the lock fully to secure it. But each time we followed the same steps on the closed door, we were still able to open the door because the turn lock will not turn the full 360 degrees. It was a case of 'pure luck and chance' when we were able to lock the front door each night on the inside of the door. We realised 1 morning that the front door had not been locked during the night, even though we thought we had locked it and this left us feeling quite unnerved. This makes the apartment totally insecure at night so we wouldn't stay there again.

I could take my dog Contained garden but the gate needs to close better

The garden could have been tidier Lots of weeds A comfortable garden chair would be nice The door lock is suspect but owner is aware

Great location,central to everywhere,cosy place ,clean . Will always try to book here when we travel down here again.

Nice to have outside space

Dirty, finger nails on floor and left over items from previous stays in drawers. Damp smell and looked way better in pictures than in reality. Quite small and toilet/bathroom design would make it difficult for larger or less mobile users

Perfect location close to everything plus a car park just around the corner

Where to start ! Firstly bed setee unfit for two like sleeping on a trampoline in end 3 of us squished into the double?? Cudnt sleep in quilt as bed and topper were soiled, all skirtings were filthy , I actually wiped some down, had to wipe microwave before I could use it !! I actually took pictures of the wipes I used it wasn’t just dusty, I had to go out and buy 3 blankets so we cud keep warm the second night, was a shame as easily fit 2 doubles in the bedroom , the bedding from the wardrobe felt damp but aired out by the second night , all pictures shown are either wat we found behind the bed setee or wipes from cleaning

Parking in the street if you come back late will not be available

Really good location. Really close to the beach..as well as supermarkets. Nice having access to garden.

A little basic perhaps....but had everything we needed.

As always The Snug Garden apartment met our expectations. Ideally situated to access all the necessary amenities. The Pier and promenade 5 mins walk. Shops around the corner and a great selection of bars and restaurants many of which are dog friendly. All you need for short or long break . Our go to apartment each time we visit Llandudno.

Can honestly say there isn't anything I can think of that disappoints. All I can say is the parking is a game of grab a space as soon as you see it. Failing that there is a car park around the corner.
