- The views of the beaches from the 19th floor are stunning. - The staff who issue the hotel keys are very friendly and helpful with providing information. - The pool is very clean and great for swimming, with multiple depth levels to suit different preferences.

- It turns out the keys have to be picked up at a completely different location from the hotel itself, which is quite inconvenient. Please try to coordinate with the owners of the hotel where the room is being rented. - Many of the appliances in the room and bathroom are old and have buildup.

Location is really good. It's great that the apartment has it's own private parking spot.

It's not optimal that you have to pickup keys on a different building.

The room is very nice with great views. The location is excellent. The apartment is really very self-sufficient having almost every thing you may need. To be honest, this is one of the best location you can stay in in Portimao and the price is also great.

I think there was lack of communication. Firstly, both booking and hotel charged me tourist tax. Secondly, you need to bring your own toiletries and tea/coffee. Thirdly, while the room is gorgeous, the building looks a little shabby from outside. Fourthly, the bed wasn't so comfy. And I would look past all of these like i have for most of my stays in other hotels. Honestly, these are minor inconvenience for a property at such a location with such views and amenities. But the thing that we didn't like was despite prior communication, we had to walk in the rain to get our deposit back. We would have missed our bus if we were a little late. This wouldn't happen if we had been told this the night before instead of just before leaving. Walking is not the problem. Not alloting time for it was. All these being said, the staff was very friendly.

The keys are collected from a completely different place, about a 10 minutes walk when you're hauling luggage too. And they ask for an €100 cash deposit. To check out, you call the hotel that gave you the keys, and cleaners come to check the apartment and return your deposit.
