Perfect location , central for everything

Central location, but very private. Everything you need for a short break. Comfortable bed, high quality fittings and very clean

Easy instructions to find the property and to open keysafe. Place was clean and lovely looking, had everything we needed. Above a cafe/teashop but quiet.

Parking could be tricky if busy.we had to park at the pier until it shut at 6pm then move to a road space a 10minute walk away and then we left car there for the rest of our holiday.

It's a beautifully planned little flat perfectly located in the High street. So light and airy, sunny in the morning and surprisingly in the evening too. Perfect for a short stay.

It would benefit from a deep clean and a little tlc, to put right some little things, such as the fire exit signs, one has fallen off, the other is hanging off, the kitchen cupboard pelmets are coming adrift. The toilet wasn't very clean, a bottle of domestos would have been useful. The tiny balcony area could do with a clean..... a pile of moss could be removed. The inside of the main door is filthy. These things stop it from getting 5 stars which it deserves.

Self catering. In a convenient spot in town.

There is little space to have a meal. The breakfast bar is cramped, and the balcony not big enough for 2 to sit at a table. The settee uncomfortable- it's a fold-down bed so short back and short seat. There was a flickering light directly above the TV. We reported it, electricians came but they couldn't sort it. Texted the owners (number does not receive calls) but no response. Parking outside property restricted to 30 mins (until 6pm) so had to hunt for a parking spot which was always a good walk away from the property. Above the Tiptree tea shop which had music playing from opening time to at least 30 mins after closing - we did ask them to turn the volume down but to no avail. So we either put up with the noise or we sought out another more relaxing place to read. In the property blurb it stated 'Enjoy the complementary bottle of wine": there wasn't one. Found a pillowcase & a torch under the bed so I'm not sure how thorough the cleaning had been done. Then 'strip beds, empty bins into bin downstairs etc' - seems we had done some of that job for them already!
