Unglaublich tolle Unterkunft mit einem noch viel tolleren Gastgeber! Hier kommt man definitiv gerne wieder der her. Vielen Dank für alles!

Kris ist der beste Gastgeber den man sich wünschen kann, er ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat immer ein offenes Ohr & hat uns sogar bei Ausflügen begleitet. Ohne seine Hilfe und Fürsorge, wäre unser Aufenthalt nur halb so schön gewesen. Das Frühstück ist super & preislich fair & die gesamte Unterkunft war sauber & komfortabel. Es hat sich wie „Zuhause“ angefühlt.

During our three-week trip through Sri Lanka, this was by far one of the best places we stayed – actually probably the best. The room was honestly amazing, so beautifully done and everything felt brand new. You could really see the attention to detail. The view was incredible and made the stay even more special. The facilities and equipment in the apartment were better than anywhere else we stayed – everything you could possibly need was there. Breakfast was also nicely prepared and always a great start to the day. KRIS was such a wonderful host. He took care of everything and made us feel completely welcome. He even drove us around with his tuk-tuk whenever we needed and was always there to answer any questions. We truly felt looked after the whole time.

The only small downside is that the location is a bit outside of town, so you need to take a tuk-tuk to get around. But with KRIS helping us, that was never really a problem.

Super séjour à la Old Chilli House! L’appartement était super propre avec une vue imprenable sur le jungle. Le lit était super confortable. Kumara est un super hôte. Tout était parfait.

My second month in Sri Lanka. This is my favorite place to stay. Would stay for a month if I could. Attentive host. Attention to details. Fully furnished house/ great kitchen.

House, host and vibes, check, check and check! Had the best time at Kris’s beautiful homestay. The outdoor seating area is the cherry on the cake.

We had such a wonderful stay at Old Chilli House. Kris was the most amazing host! He provided everything we needed and was very helpful all aspects of our stay, providing transport to and from different locations. We were lucky enough to have some incredible breakfasts and dinner made by Kris. Had our own private apartment which we felt very welcome and comfortable in.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Old Chili House. De accomodatie ziet er super uit. Het is heel erg ruim en de eigen keuken en terras zijn perfect als je zelf je ontbijt/ avondeten wil maken. Wij hebben vooral gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt dat aangeboden werd door de eigenaar en dat was mega lekker! Daarnaast is de eigenaar heel aardig en heeft ons geholpen met het regelen van vervoer naar het vliegveld. Verder hebben we via zijn broer een surfles gehad die ook heel goed is bevallen. Kortom een perfect verblijf in een van de mooiste accomodaties tijdens onze vakantie

Unser Aufenthalt im old Chili House war einfach perfekt! Nach einer langen Anreise wurden wir mit einer gekühlten King Coconut von Kris herzlichst empfangen. Das Appartement ist mit viel Lieben zum Detail eingerichtet. Man kann selber kochen oder sich von Kris mit Frühstück oder selbst gemachten Curry verwöhnen lassen. Das Essen genießt man auf dem wunderschönen Balkon mit Blick in die Natur. Der Strand war in einem 20 minütigen Spaziergang zu erreichen ebenso einige Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs. Wir würden diese besondere Unterkunft und seinen Gastgeber jedem weiter empfehlen! Ein Highlight unseres Urlaubs!
