"Scam"

As soon as i booked it i got an email to deposit £350 in an account which i refused the guy never replied and never took my call then i went to another hotel. This guy is a fraud a scammer.

I never got into the room and no refunds.

"Perfect for my needs"

Host was excellent . Accommodated a change of premise due to a problem . Great communication to resolve

Had to pay damage deposit but was easily done and instantly refunded . Normal practice abroad so didn't see it as a problem tbh.

"Police getting involved"

Location

It is imperative for the host to receive comprehensive training in established business practices. The deposit requirement is concerning, particularly as the host requests payment to an unidentified account, a practice that lacks legal compliance. Please note the following: Direct phone communication with the host is unavailable. Booking.com services have been unable to establish contact with the host via telephone. To recover the funds, I am compelled to involve American Express, given the absence of effective assistance from both the host and booking.com customer services. Both parties have insisted on a £350 deposit to an undisclosed account to facilitate flat access. Under these circumstances, how can a payment be justifiably processed? If you think to book here remember you need to pay £350 for the pleasure and if you somehow manage to send money to an unidentified account you will now have to trust an unnamed person to return your funds and if they dont who do you report ? Think properly before booking I will be seeking a legal remedy and involving the police 🚔

"Garbage customer service - where is my money?"

We couldn't stay in the property. They informed me that they were double booked and to contact yourselves to get the money that I had paid refunded to me. No joy with that so far.

The fact that they have cancelled on me at the last minute. I am also not too pleased that I have so far received a refund.
