Eastbourne Town centre Maisonette apartment

Property was very central but also close to the beach. Bus station right outside the flat. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Would be useful to have dishwasher tabs for the dishwasher and laundry liquid for the washing machine. For stays of a few days it doesn’t make sense to have to buy a full pack of dishwasher tabs and a bottle of laundry liquid.

Location spacious

Couldn't have a shower as it leaked through to the kitchen walls.i pointed out Loose seal around bath wall, mentioned to Michelle who looked after property She came out straight away and moped up water in kitchen and cleaned up, Michelle was lovely. And said she would get a plumber in, it only needed a sealant. You could see from kitchen ceiling this was a ongoing problem. She phoned later that day to say plumber hadn't arrived and she was going to call him back. He never came. Michelle was very friendly about it, but she did say when this first happened that she knew about this problem?? Seems to me the owner didnt want to spend any money out on a plumber as this seems ongoing. Didn't want a bath as it was extremely hot weather. Also there was a little sign on balcony door which we hadn't noticed until Michelle pointed out after we had opened door not to go out onto balcony as door could come of hinges? Could of been quite dangerous an accident waiting to happen, wasnt mentioned before we arrived, should of been fixed as an urgency. Definitely needed to open door and go out on balcony due to hot weather. Also chairs on balcony stained and dirty didnt want to sit on them. Towel rail came off in our hands as not screwed into wall properly. We had to laugh at this point saying it was like fawlty towers!! Overall spacious bright flat, location excellent to town and beach. Very noisy at night due to being next to weatherspoons, but couldn't keep windows closed due to flat being so hot because of weather. Would help having a couple of fans in rooms. Owner needs to spend some money on flat and fix problems. Even though overall looks clean and beds were clean, and fresh towels. whole flat needs a repaint, problems fixed, and furniture/seating replaced, and carpets replaced as stained. Safety of balcony door especially. Good price to stay there, they say you pay for what you get🤔 but in reflection wouldn't stay again. Enjoyed Air Show🙂

Central location

Central location so very noisy. Somewhat shabby

Great location being close to the town with a decent level of facilities within this apartment. Short stay parking on the street and long term parking a few min walk away. Close to the coast and the pier.

There is noise from the busy street which can be resolved with some new windows. Some do not shut at all in the bedroom. The main door only has a single Yale lock and could benefit from some additional security - even just a simple bolt on one of the interior doors, we ended up using furniture to block the door overnight.

Excellent location. Spacious flat.

Only one toilet within the bathroom. Seagulls very noisy at night.

The property was large and well maintained. Everything was provided and the beds were comfortable. We had a fantastic meeting
