The location

Not equipped for 3 people. Missing lots of items, various things were broken or not working properly - kitchen tap, lounge curtains. Shower was either boiling hot or cold and the bedroom window was covered in pigeon poo. Should not be advertised for 3. Awkward as en-suite in bedroom so third person had to gain access to bathroom via the bedroom. This should be documented in the description. No covers on the spare pillows and had to request on many occasions for extra items - towels, glasses, utensils, mugs.

Very central location. Nice clean and comfortable apartment.

There is no clear indication to find the property - No 19 . We can only find No. 11 & 13. The lane after entering the black gate is quite dirty. There is a roll of white bedsheet or towel under the bed . We didn't touch it.

My stay was absolutely horrendous, the cleanliness being the worst part, on arrival we had to go through an ally way that was shared with other businesses but was vile !, we had to collect keys from a lock box which was not an issue but guided me to think that the building was unstaffed on arrival to the room i quickly realised how dirty the venue was. Every shelf or ledge was thick with dust the bed had hairs on it, spare duvet was on the floor under the bed unpacked just laying on a carpet that had not been hoovered, shower was filled with grime and mould, silvers were all stained e.g. bin shower handles toilet button taps etc. the sofa had i would like to imagine was the last guests food inside the folds, the oven was disgusting to the point i would not have dared to cook from, and a consistent drip from the living room window!. The whole stay was booked for three days but i had informed the property due to family reasons i would be leaving after just one night , when i woke up the property had messaged me at 1:30am to find out what time i would be leaving the apartment after being told i could not be refunded the days i would not stay this was out of order!. I have used the assistance chat to request a refund but have been shut down or ignored when replied to, i would not let my worst enemy stay here!

Looked clean on arrival but tea towels were smelly and clearly not changed before our arrival. Bed was comfortable so I stripped off the sheets to find the make of mattress only to find a large stain on the mattress protector and mattress itself.. I photographed it and sent to the owner but it’s now over 4 weeks since we stayed there and I have not had a response- very poor!

The location was good - very central. It was nice to have a dishwasher. The kitchen was well equipped. The hosts responded quickly.

The noise was a real problem. Loud residents upstairs. But more significantly the pigeons outside were a real nuisance, and ruined the stay, by noise and the mess they made. The entrance was really unsightly. The bed was not very comfy - no fitted sheet on it. The bedroom was quite small - no room to put anything. The apartment in general could have done with a deep clean. I agree with other reviews regarding the door handles is accurate.
