AF Stays - Philadelphia 1212 Mt Vernon St

The room was grimy and didn't really match the photos. Shower covered in mould, shower door handle broken, the floors hadn't been mopped in ages, dishes had finger prints on them, corners had dust in them, the basement flat was extremely noisy, lamps were covered in a thick layer of dust. the walls were covered in smudges and dirt.

Liked my own room

The neighborhood was great, near to different eateries and The Met.

My room was in the basement, could hear other guests walk up and down the stairs.

Host allowed us to check in early, which was great, and communication was very fast. Philly parking is never easy, but we found street parking a block away. We were walking distance to everything we needed for the night. We did have trouble with the TV, no remote, but it was taken care of immediately. Room was small, but comfy. Shower was great. Room was clean... A little dust on shelves, but no big deal for us.

We were in the basement level, and the person above us was very loud all night (not host's fault I'm assuming) lots of dropping items onto the hardwood floor. We heard every creak and doors slamming which woke us several times.

Great appartment, especially for the price

The house was quite noisy.

The Location was close to the Center, supermarkets and restaurants. Access with key codes was no problem.

Room was small for two people and we had to share with cockroche which I don't like. You could hear a lot from other rooms.

The location was good. We did not walk downtown but the subway was within a couple of blocks.

The room was smaller than I expected. Going through the photos again there is a few photos of the room that we got, but most of the photos are of larger rooms with a small table, which I could have used to set up my computer. We only stayed overnight, so it wasn't a big issue, we were just disappointed when we walked into the room. We had high expectations based on the photos we had seen,

Easy remote check-in, very clean, spacious.

Loud, could easily hear fellow guests.
