Upon arrival at check-in, I called the agent and was brusquely informed that I had been relocated to a different apartment 15 minutes uphill. After moving my car from the carpark and the 3 very tired 14-year-olds with me, we discovered that the new apartment was still a construction site, with shirtless builders working on other units in the same building.

Clean and strategic location

We had to climb up 3 floors which was unexpected and was a bit of a struggle for my parents!

The block lobby area was a little smelly. But didn’t affect our stay

The area was very good and easy to get into town with lots of lovely places to eat a short walk away. The apartment came with a fan for each bedroom and a hair dryer and hair straighteners which was helpful meaning we didn't have to bring our own. Never had an issue with the other apartments below they were always very quiet this is probably helped by the fact you are staying on the top floor.

The shower was a little hard to get at a consistent temperature often being a little too hot or too cold. The twin bedroom could benefit from an extension lead for the lamp we use our own otherwise the lamp didn't seem to have reached the socket.

Location was central to most of what Brighton has to offer and had a full kitchen.

VERY Hard bed, didn't get an answer after 3-4 tries on both boooking.com and e-mail when i raised my concerns and asked about a later checkout, glass on floor that was stood on, large cleaning fee higher than the rate for one night hidden in fees. Also recoeved 5 messages in total during our 2 stay night about joining their mailing list. Wifi was also dodgy.

Great location, clean, very comfortable beds, had everything we needed. Very helpful people organizing it.

Very minor issue was that the entrance did not look like an entrance to an apartment. But once inside it was perfect.
