Anita Apartments

The view

Very boring decor, the smell of paint was overwhelming, the sofa coverings were disgusting, the balcony door did not lock and the balcony sliding door was so stiff you couldn’t open it. The wardrobes need modernising and the air con filters need cleaning as they spat out dirt.

Location and view were amazing. Nice kitchen with all necessities - good sized fridge. Comfy beds and good wardrobe space. Modern bathrooms. Helpful information provided by company.

3rd bedroom was a bit small and the layout was a bit odd with the kitchen to the back and a big open hallway wasting space. Bit noisy in the evenings with restaurants below but finished before we were in bed generally so not a big issue.

Sunshine every day. Recently fitted kitchen. Small balcony in the morning sun.

We did not get the apartment that we expected. We expected an apartment with a large balcony, suitable for all day sunshine. The photographs on booking. com are jumbled up and show a mixture of Anita 1, Anita 2 and Anita 3. But when you are booking this you dont actually know this. Its only Anita 1 that has the large balcony. Anita 2 has a balcony in the shade during the afternoon. (The local managing agents J S Properties, seem to know this when questioned) Noisy location. (Why do other Brits and Scots think its necessary to talk loudly and shout at 1am in the morning). Noisy building. You could hear people above and below moving about. (To be fair they could probably hear us as well). Overall, the expectations did not match the cost of renting.

Location, cleanliness, modern kitchen. Office staff were extremely helpful - Erica could not have been more obliging! Bedlinen very clean and beds and pillows comfortable. AirCon very effective.

The entrance does not give a good impression on arrival. Bins overflowing at the door and a dark hallway. Apt was a bit bland and poorly laid out- could do with a few pictures on the walls. My biggest issue is every photo shows the very large balcony but that is only the one bed apt. This was not made clear until after i had booked. Our apt was for 6 adults but the balcony had a table which could only fit 4! Quite misleading to show the very large balcony on every site.

Great central location for restaurants, bus station, ferries.

Because it's a lively spot, could be noisy in the evening.

Fantastic central location, indescribable views, great amenities in the apartment for a holiday which is about being on the balcony and being out and about in the town and the beaches only a stones throw from the apartment
