1 Central Chambers

This spacious apartment was located right in the heart of town and only one flight of stairs.

As with other reviews, the beds were uncomfortable. The apartment was very tired looking. The lounges had stains, the bathroom and carpet needed a good steam clean. There was a lounge in main bedroom with no legs so unusable. Coffee machine with no pods and same for washing machine. This apartment could be fantastic with a little more care and and attention to detail. There is no onsite parking. S7 parking is quite some distance from apartment and needs explanation.

It was right in the city centre. Excellent location. Lots of light and spacious.

The cleaner has a dog in the place with her, so if you have allergies then don't go! The place wasn't ready when we arrived, waited a further 30 minutes. Got a parking ticket as we were in the loading bay too long because of this. The mattresses are old and very creaky, pretty sure they have bed bugs too, can't prove it but I left with 9 bites, not mosquito bites. There was poo on the inside of the toilet. Only one full toilet roll and a couple of remnants provided for 4 people for 2 nights between 2 bathrooms. The couch in the bedroom was broken. There were towels in the washing machine. One of the showers had a lot of mould and mildew on it, hair still in the drain. No hand totals provided. TV was broken. And despite reaching out to the host/owner on more than one occasion, I have received no response whatsoever! Do not recommend.

The location of this property is excellent. A little misleading about parking -as we assumed it was on site however the parking permit allows you to park in certain streets which were about 6 min walk. The flat is modern and well equipped. The facilities good . The bedrooms let it down - beds were uncomfortable poor quality mattresses- and the bedding was poor quality old and needed ironing - and which is a shame as it let it down . We all slept on top of duvets and wrapped our towels around the pillows. There was hairs on some pillows - Skirting boards dusty Shower and bathroom silicone mouldy and cleaning and renewing . Stains on the sofa Due to the busy location it can be noisy with traffics and early morning deliveries.

Central location, having 2 bathrooms for 2 couples was ideal and thanks for the wine.

Squeaky doors and beds. Not enough loo rolls supplied for 4 people for 7 nights. A dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets. Plastic wine glasses and chipped plates. Not a functional level of pots/pans for cooking. No rotary lock or glass plate in microwave. No tea towel or clean sponges. No instructions left so didn't know where rubbish should go, and just 1 small rubbish bag for a week. The sofa in the far bedroom seemed unsteady so just used for clothes. Having stayed in this building previously in another apartment, we were aware the property was next to a road and so were prepared for some traffic noise. However this apartment doesn't have sealed windows or double glazing in the bedrooms making it impossible to get a good night's sleep due to speeding cars, voices from passersby and delivery vans in the middle of the night. If the windows are replaced this would make so much difference.

Very Central. You need to park on a road which is a few streets away or the NCP. Property is up stairs above a shop, light and airy. Good kitchen supplies.

Few things need repairing and my friend has just finished cancer treatment and felt the flat wasn’t cleaned properly. I couldn’t open the sofa bed

There was broken furniture on arrival, dirty shower, not enough toilet roll for a wkd break and the single beds were cheap mattresses with springs coming through and the frames were squeaky. All the towels were damp smelling too. There were sewerage and drain cleaning on a huge scale all night on Friday from 11pm to 4am so nobody slept. We did ask and the workmen said the owners would have been notified. Very poor and would not recommend.
