1 Central Chambers

There was only 3 mugs for 4 people staying , the bath towels were damp and the hand smelt ! There was black mild in the shower doors that needs cleaning !

The property was in need of some decoration, especially in hallways and bedrooms. Beds were uncomfortable and the bedding was of poor quality. Windows rattled at every movement. Housekeeping needs some attention.

The apartment is spacious, light and very centrally located and that’s where the positive aspects end.

It’s situated in a busy road so there is noise constantly which made it difficult to sleep (that is not the hosts fault). The parking arrangements are poorly explained and I had to keep messaging the host as I didn’t understand the system. It is not private parking - it is permit parking in a public place. The flat was dirty, poorly furnished and outdated. The carpets were disgusting with lots of stains, sealant around the shower was black, the furniture was thick with dust, the table runner was ingrained with various food splashes and the whole place needs a real deep clean. It also needs some maintenance with a toilet flush button missing, light switches loose, shower head hanging loose from the wall, only one bedside light working, the smoke detector in the kitchen is missing (illegal), sockets unusable in double bedroom as socket has been jammed with an old plug. The beds and linen were very poor quality and the single bed mattresses need replacing. It’s a shame the owner is not responding to the feedback and making the changes (I would start by sacking the ‘cleaners’) as it could be a very nice holiday let. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

The host was very nice and extended our parking permit past our check out time. Very much appreciated as parking is so difficult in the area.

The good- Large apartment and great location although extremely noisy. You could hear all outside street noise and upstairs tenants. The bad- Unfortunately the apartment was filthy. Moldy bathrooms, dusty blinds, dirty and stained carpet and sofas. No bed sheets, only comforters which smelled musty. Bed mattresses were very thin and uncomfortable. It really is a shame as the location is wonderful. The bedrooms seem unsafe. Floors are slanted towards the street and rattle and you walk into them. Not the hosts fault but other tenants were drinking and partying at 1am for over 2 hours. Listing should mention the construction going on in front of the building which blocks access to and from the apartment.

Location great. Size of rooms good. Close to park and ride bus drop off and pick up. Beds comfortable and showers good. Great for 2-3 nights stay

Seemed shame that some minor things brought the accommodation down- not enough mugs or glasses ( we were 5 adults ), no locks on bathrooms, tv was there but set up for private account so couldn't work out how to use, no radio. Needs investing in double glazing for the bedrooms.

Different getting in late at night, read all instructions prior to arriving including parking location.

Very noisy from outside. Bin men and delivery drivers from 4am . Was poor level of cleanliness No linen for the 2 sofa beds

Excellent location, lovely kitchen and well equipped. Bathroom and shower very modern.

Uncomfortable beds, windows rattling and not sound proof. Both sofas were stained and carpets were marked which let the property down

Great location

Poor communication on all levels. No replies to messages. Couldn’t check in on time. Received parking fine because they didn’t add number plate to council system. Spent two months chasing reimbursement. Calls and messages ignored and still fine has not been reimbursed. Would never go again
