Willow cottage with private hot tub

The location of this gem perfect located very close to the roaches which is the reason we stayed here. The cottage is stunning clean and the bed is very very comfy and warm. Any queries made through booking.com got an Instant reply,if there were any issues they would resolved very fast.

Mold all over the property. Bedroom, windows and bathroom. Hot tub was cold, roof above hot tub was rotten and falling down. The host was extremely rude, obnoxious, had no manners and not welcoming at all. I Would never return here and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this property to anybody.

Didn’t like how we were told to be quiet when in the hot tub, when we were just laughing, if the owner don’t like people enjoying themselves then I’m sorry your in the wrong job, spent the time worrying about even talking. 🙁

We wanted to stay close to one of the best rated hikes in the Peak District, and this lived up to expectations. Beautiful area, and after a long hike, the hot tub and comfort of the cottage was just what we needed. The hot tub set up is really nice. It was clean and well managed. Once we figured out how to turn on the heating, the cottage was really warm. Everything is clean. The cottage itself is pretty sweet. It looks a lot better than the way it looks in the pictures.

The road really needs some work. I was very careful driving up, but unless you have an SUV, there is a risk of damaging suspension and the undercarriage. A lot of scratching on the way up and down, and it wouldn't take too much to fill in the potholes... Also the check-in time. I understand that there are other houses using the private road, so I guess this is a way to manage it, but seeing as it's just the case of arriving and entering a code to get the key, I don't see why the check-in time should be so limited. The plastic cups - I would add a couple of glasses. Cooking oil is missing. A few additional towels would have been welcome too.
