My husband and I loved everything about this property. The property is located about 15 min from San Gimignano town, so you do need a car. The views of this property are so beautiful, mountains and the town. They have a pool that's so relaxing. The property only has 11 rooms so it makes it very cozy and tranquil, our room was spacious and very cute, very Italian. The bed was made every day, the breakfast was good. We did dinner and lunch and they were homemade but very clean and delicious. The people at this place are so friendly, the owners are so personal and friendly, one of them took us on a tour of the property and we ALL love it so much. Afternoons in this property call you for a glass of wine in the garden. Husband and I did hikes. The wine is delicious. There is so much I can tell you, but is best that you try it for yourself. Thank you all for making our stay so special, we can only hope to come back!

Remote, difficult access

Accommodation, location and surrounding area were outstanding, however it was the staff, particularly Maria who made our trip. We can not speak highly enough of Maria - she went out of her way to ensure we had the best stay possible. Thank you to Stefano and Donatella for creating such a magnificent place to stay. We ate on site for most meals - the food was made with love and servings were very generous. If you are travelling without a car, we suggest booking taxis/drivers in advance.

The staff was very welcoming, the setting was perfect. The breakfast and dinner were also superb. Couldn't have asked for more.

Nothing, everything was great.

We spent 2 glorious nights at this amazing place in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The hidden gem is tucked away down a rural dirt road - a the pictures (while beautiful!) do not do it justice. Spectacular views in every direction, spotless light-filled room, swimming pool perched on the hilltop, gardens, pond, hiking trails, and the most lovely owners and staff you will ever meet. Be sure to ask for a tour of the property to learn the magical history as an Etruscan holy site, Roman historical crossroads and it’s location on the holy pilgrim trail. Famous artifacts have been found on site and archeological digs continue to uncover history. On site gourmet restaurant serves night five-course meals (different menu every night) with food grown on site and locally. they grow and serve their own organic wines. Stop searching and book this place - it was amazing. We will be back!
