Easy to access and friendly staff

Warm welcome from the night porter.

Room clean but bathroom not in great shape.

The shower cubicle could have been a wee bit bigger, the toilet seat could've been secured properly.

I didn’t take breakfast as at this time of the year they only offered pre booked continental . I myself prefer a cooked breakfast. The staff did direct me to a cafe less than a quarter mile away which did do a full cooked breakfast for just £8:50 with coffee. They had a great selection for lunch and dinner. With 3 course meals for two starting for as little as £15. The food itself was fresh and cooked to perfection I can’t fault it.

For a quiet night in it was right up my street, 80s music playing in the background, cocktails staring for £1:95 ( vodka and coke). Pool table. Bar staff very friendly ( Debbie and Angela) ordered once and they remembered your order and name. They have endless wealth of local knowledge and they spend time just to speak to you as if they had known you all your life.
