Cityscape Apartment in Birmingham with Self Checkin

Absolutely nothing, I got there so tired with my partner after making the payment online. Asked the receptionist how to check in buh guess what guys 😡 I was surprisingly SCAMMED. No room was given to us and no money refunded, mind u😡 i wasn’t the only person, like 4 different people came at the same time with us and we were told the same horrible story. After an online payment and a long travel to Birmingham, they left everyone stranded and frustrated, called called buh they refused picking. We had to spend another money and lodged elsewhere. Had a awful experience with this apartment, was last minute stay due to my Daughter needed to stay longer at the children’s hospital. I paid the amount of 2 nights stay. As I got to the apartment they wanted another £250 from me. This wasn’t mentioned at all on booking the apartment. When contacting the owner of the apartment. The customer service was vile. The attitude and respect again was vile. I’m a young girl 4 hours away from home. Just wanted a place to sleep and shower. Wasn’t having NO party or had nobody else with me. I lost my FULL payment for the room & didn’t even stay.

Any of it. I felt scammed.

Scammer hasn’t sent me my deposit back £250 he also gave me a dirty apartment dirt all over the sofa and curtains no fan broken widow it was a suna not an apartment

Nothing - host didn’t let us into the property, asked for a deposit we sent it and then said he didnt recieve it but managed to send it back. Called him 15x no response and said his signal was poor, security said to us its common and this has happened before. Please don’t go , I have had to dispute and book another hotel

The apartment location is good with a good view.

We had no hot water for the 3 days stay, and no heating. The owner took £125 from the £250 deposit because she found tobacco on the carpet. The pictures on the site are deceiving, they make the apartment look much bigger than it is.
