"a welcome break in lovely surroundings"

we would have liked a walk in shower rather than a deep bath with shower As an older couple it is much easier but maybe other bedrooms have this I would ask next time , Also in our bedroom and ensuite there is a need to clean the dirt collected round the window pains .(Herbert bedroom ) we didn’t rate the food highly and found the prices didn’t justify the quality on offer and needs attention to attract us to dine in the hotel in the future .The dining experience at dinner was really poor ..

We were given a free upgrade to a very large elegant room. Staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast.

"Lovely if you’re coming with kids not for couples"

The property is stunning and the swimming pool is a lovely touch

I feel it was definitely aimed at families rather than couples, there was isn’t a bar or any where to relax and sit and have a drink the lounges were full of toys and a bit run down, we will be back when we have kids
