"Would stay again for a short trip."

Historic and interesting building and grounds. Dinner and breakfast very good.

Worn drapes and carpets. Room difficult to heat as snow fell overnight.

Fantastic location in beautiful parkland Bedroom was stylish comfortable and heat easily controlled A la carte menu even late in the day The swimming pool was perfect : depth temperature ambience

How professional Phillip was at dealing with our issues. Thank goodness for his professionalism.

Condition and poor equipment in the first room. Lack of information, poor communication . At breakfast most staff seemed interested in only 2 tables, wasn’t asked if everything was okay, or even acknowledged after the food was delivered.

"Outstanding Family Hotel"

We had a fabulous mid-week break at the Ickworth Hotel with our 2yo. We’ve not stayed in one of the Luxury Family Hotels before and it was a brilliant experience. The facilities available for babies/toddlers/children are outstanding. From child beds with barriers to potties, baby plates/cutlery to free milk and cookies before bed (to name a few), the service was absolutely faultless. The pool was a real favourite - lovely, warm and very clean. We intended to only stay for one night, but we had to add on an extra night, because we weren’t ready to leave. Big thanks to the team!

"Incredible Hotel with friendly attentive staff"

Amazing Location being able to access the National Trust property and grounds during the day was fantastic . The staff were friendly and attentive we couldn't fault anything. We weren't travelling with small children but the facilities for families are great.
