The room is very comfortable and is decorated nicely with antiques. Just as pictured with large French doors opening to the street. A nice surprise was the communal kitchen supplied with coffee and tea.

It is advertised as having free parking, but the only parking available is on the street.

Great location in Guadalupe neighbourhood, 5 mins from the main part of town. Beautifully styled boutique hotel. Loved the cute kitchen and the rooftop with views over the city. It was great to have a fridge and coffee maker in the room. Across the road is a little store selling almost everything - drinks, fresh produce etc. very handy. We loved Once Once cafe in the Guadalupe area, and all the street art in the surrounding roads. Eugenio was an excellent host - very responsive and helpful, sending us recommendations of things to see and do, and where to eat. Loved our stay and would book here again.

Next time I would probably book a room facing the courtyard (instead of “city view” - facing the road). Local dogs like to bark a bit at night.

The property is absolutely beautiful and just what you hope San Miguel de Allende will be like: old, colorful, & with lots of character and unique details. The design & art was all stunning and we also really appreciated the water filter tap for drinking. The beds were comfortable and there were so many spaces to relax and enjoy, including lovely outdoor spaces for the back two units. The view is really nice too. We didn’t use the BBQ because we didn’t have enough time but we wish we could’ve stayed longer & tried it!

Just a couple small notes. We saw a couple cockroaches (but we understand that this just comes with the territory! Hard to keep them away. We didn’t mind but others might). And also there were a couple times where the aesthetic got in the way of function. One of us bumped our leg on the pipe sticking out in the kitchen that was painted to blend in so less noticeable. And the sliding glass door in the upstairs bedroom leading to the terrace is beautiful but so old & the paint sticks in such a way that it is very difficult to slide open & takes a lot of muscle. In general, if you have mobility & access concerns, I wouldn’t recommend staying here due to steep, narrow stairwells and some narrow spaces that are part of the unique construction (especially the spiral staircase).

Lovely casita approx 15 to 20 mins walk from the Basilica and Jardín. Very accommodating and very private. We'll equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and great showers. Thank you Eugenio and Ari for making us so welcome and comfortable 😁

The entire place is very cute. The host was beyond wonderful.

The room was a little crowded, storage wise, for two people staying multiple days. We made it work.
