For a 1 night stay was good

No plug sockets by side of bed to put charges for phones, only 1 bedside table, not able to see in mirror when drying hair

It had everything I needed from a private bathroom with a great shower, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, TV, good WiFi and a comfy bed.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, it was just unusual and a different experience for me. The guesthouse was situated in someone’s back garden,and I’ve never experienced that before. It was different for me as I’m used to staying in hotels.

It was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Add a bath mat to the shower

Lovely host! Very kind and quick to offer her help when checking in and checking out...particularly when we had car troubles when leaving. Rooms are nicely set up in a lovely location. Perfect for what we needed for 1 night at a local event.

It was a lot better than London more room and no stairs It had great car parking right next to your room

The bed is not much chop and key into the room is very sticky

Good location for Hatfield House which we were visiting

No kitchen equipment just 2 cups &2 odd large plates no dishes or other plates Shower head didn't attach so had to hold it by hand

The only positive comment I can add is that the property was clean.

When we arrived they said someone was in our room and we had to wait while they got out (we think they actually complained about the room and we ended up with it). The bed was not fit for purpose. It was a fold up double bed and was really uncomfortable. It had a thick winter duvet cover on it. Not that the owners are responsible for the 30 degree temperature but it’s a garden room and is exposed to full sun. We were baking, no fan in the room and no air con. It had a towel under the fridge to stop it leaking. £116 per night is way over priced for this room. The photos on the website do not reflect the room we stayed in. It was also a residential property with very restricted parking.
