Villa Khatun Guesthouse - Peaceful Boutique Guesthouse near Fontainhas in Panjim

The property was clean and so cute, with flowers and terrapin turtles. We were so chuffed with the complementary tea, coffee and biscuits, and loved having a fridge! The host was so helpful, having created a whole guide for tourists on things to do. Deffo recommend!

Pros: beautiful property, spacious room, fan fine for cooling (in February), equipped kitchen (even if I didn't use it for anything but tea), filtered water available, everything was clean and comfortable. There is a helpful PDF guide with recommendations given on arrival, staff are eager to advise. It takes a little stroll to get to the town centre but still tolerable. Overall a nice experience. Cons: due to the charming rustic construction, if you leave out even totally unopened factory packaged food items there is the chance for furry visitors in the night (keeping things in the fridge resolved this). If you are a light and sensitive sleeper (alas, I am) not even earplugs will save you from the local canine chorus should they set up practice directly outside the back wall.

Everything :) First of all, the owner is extremely professional and helpful and makes sure you are comfortable. The room was very cute, with a kitchen and fridge attached to it. The bathroom was very nice and plenty of amenities, including cutlery. The bed sheet smells nice, all was very clean. The location is good as you have nice options to eat nearby. I stayed only for a short stay of one night but will definitely recommend Villa Khatun.

It is not a dislike but the room is not soundproof, which is great as you can hear the birds in the morning but also you can hear more noises at night (I am a light sleeper ).

The room was spotless , comfortable and very lovely, Shiva is extremely helpful and polite, he organised the taxis for me. The location is great, very close to the city centre and the price very competitive. I highly recommend this guesthouse

Stay was very comfortable. Host Alim and staff shiva were really helpful. . It is close to many prime locations. Well maintained.

The room was little small.

I could stay new 2nd accommodation which is beautiful Portuguese style place. The room has high ceiling and spacious room with nice antique furnitures, hot pot, refrigerator and tea sets! The bathroom has a bathtub and enough hot water . The king size of bed was very comfortable. Manager and stuff are very kind. They accepted my late check out request because my bus for next destination was 7pm. When I leave this place, the staff Jasswan helped me to get a Tuk Tuk and he carried my backpack because a street was blocked for a temple’s festival. Fontainhas Goa is 3min walk and center of city is 15min walk. Everything is very close. Murti temple is 2min. All of my stay was great. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful guesthouse, only about 10 minutes walk from the Fontainhas. There is hot water, wi-fi, a kitchenette, little garden. The staff is very nice and so helpful. A special thanks to Shiba. I highly recommend

LOVED this charming guesthouse with a lovely quiet garden. The large room also had a super kitchen fitted with everything you might need - so useful and neat ! Kind and considerate owners also left teabags and milk (dried which stirred in and tasted like regular milk so satisfying to drink on rising !). Wonderful hot shower and very good bed. Excellent AC.
