Shiva is a nice fellow. He was there to receive me. There are a couple of red-eared sliders (turtles) in a tub. Nice place. You get up by hearing kingfishers.

"Lovely place, hosts and location."

Loved everything about it, was made to feel welcome and was provided everything I needed. Even though I had the no aircon rooms the fans were as good. Loved the little kitchen area and sit down table. Shib and Aran were great help. Even loved the little pond with terrapins and fish. Great location to stroll from to see everything on way to beach front.

Only downfall for me was no tv. However I enjoyed tranquility.

The staff - Shiva is such a gem of a person. He is sooo helpful and hands on. He helped us with getting rain coats and our scooty's tyre was flat he went out in the rains and got the puncture guy. Bargained for us. Helped us so so so much. Such an asset he is.

The room had a damp smell due to rains and since its an old Portugal house, the roof was very rustic and old fashioned (not complaining) however when it rained heavily, the sound of the rains was so so so loud that we couldnt sleep. Not an issue w the property but we chose a wrong time to stay at the hotel. Due to the season there were too many lizards and snails in the washroom. Maybe will give it shot in future in some other season to judge better.

"Nice place to stay, humble hosts"

Nice welcoming hosts, good communication, Accommodating, not super busy area but close to the Maruti Temple and couple of nice restaurants and coffee shops. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Recommend.
