Surf Retreat Villa Sari Bali

My room was beautiful and spacious enough for 2 if you travel light. Comfy queen bed, great air-con, and good storage space. The pics are accurate. The pool was clean and private. The location is 10 minutes walk to the closest beach through stunning rice fields.Staff are lovely and helpful, and on-site 9am to 9 pm so sort a motorcycle the night before if you want an early start.

If you want to surf the famous point break at Medewi then the location means you have to travel unavoidably on the busy main road for at least a part of the trip. Its a short but when it's busy it can be intimidating unless you're confident on a scooter. Bring ear-plugs if you want to sleep-in as its situated close to 2 mosques. They're a great alarm if you want an early wake-up call.

We arrived 20:30 and the room wasn’t ready. We text and call to the manager a few times, with no luck at all. Never answer, we booked 10 days and end up staying half.

The location of the homestay was perfect - walking distance from the best restaurant in Medewi (Naya´s Kitchen). The room was very clean and the bathroom very spacious.

2 mosques close by way too loud, kitchen is gross, not clean at all, nothing there to cook a decent meal,, balcony is broken almost fell down real dangerous, staff doesnt really care & clean a lot, anaaf the staff member is nice but there is no system in place, other guests complain about sewer smell ...
