"Superb"

The hosts were exceptional, very friendly and accommodating. They even made us homemade sweets on new year's day and allowed us to extend our stay hassle free. It is also very well located in the middle of the fort!

"Convenient location but cleanliness needs to improve"

The location is great and convenient. It is right in the middle of the fort and in close proximity to many cafes and restaurants.

The rooms was not cleaned properly. It wasn’t ready when we arrived. We found hair on the bed and there were hair that had fell on the bathroom sink after shaving. The sheets had stains. Needless to say that this made my stay unpleasant.

room clean and ok

The booking states that the kitchen is shared. every time we wanted to cook something, one of the owners stood over us and watched everything we did, which deprived us of our privacy. when it came to paying for the rent, they said that we had to pay an additional 1,800 rupees for the use of gas (that's how much it costs for a month of everyday cooking in Sri Lanka) and we stayed here only for 2 nights
